Argentina asks maritime tribunal to halt Falklands oil project

Argentina said it asked the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in Hamburg for provisional measures to halt oil development off the disputed Falkland Islands, escalating its confrontation with the UK over the archipelago's first commercial oil project. The request was filed by the office of President Javier Milei.
